Hardest Nut to Crack?
Quite a few people (I came across it at dispositive) are doing "100 Things About Me." I have no idea who these people are and I found the reading enjoyable. I invite my fellow bloggers (and anonymous contributors as well) to something more manageable -- a Top Ten of Nuts & Boalts.
[I should add that I was motivated by an earlier suggestion that we don't know much about our fellow classmates.]
Here's mine (in no particular order).
1. Religion is the most important thing in my life.
2. The worst crime I've committed could have put me away for life (with parole) if I had been an adult at the time.
3. I don't know any of my biological relatives. And it is not possible for me to be a biological parent. This is liberating.
4. I was once a Randian (Randroid).
5. I was once a Communist.
6. I don't really understand embarrassment.
7. I fear having bad breath.
8. The closest thing I have to a fetish is lipstick.
9. I have only said "I love you" to three people.
10. There is only one person I have ever had sex with.

Are you for real or is this just taking advantage of anonymity. And while we're on the topic, I can match you on 1, 2 (kidnapping - what was yours?), 4, 5, 6, 7 (a little), and 9 (well, only two people). I lose you on 3, 8, and 10 - for related reasons.
Are six and seven logically inconsistent? Or is there something deeper at work?
I'll ponder posting a top ten... not having an anonymous handle significantly limits the potential for disclosure here.
Not logically inconsisent, Tom, just in tension. But the tension disappears if you give up the typical reasons one fears having bad breath. And typical reasons don't come naturally to a Randian, even a recovering Randian, and even one who's not too randy.
