Party Time, Excellent
In honor of the cite-checking party on Wednesday, I would like to proclaim that the bestest journal at Boalt is the Berkeley Journal of International Law. And no, I'm not writing this because I suddenly found out that the co-editor-in-chief (or possibly the editors-in-chief) now read the blog. Seriously, not at all why I'd say something like that.
But it really is a great journal with AMAZING LEADERSHIP.

I just wanted to record this moment as the first time someone I personally know (and know well) was mentioned on a blog I read. I think I can guess which one of the EIC's read the blog-- that's just too easy. And, I highly doubt the other does-- not much of blog reader, I bet.
A constructive violation of Rules of Engagement, 2(a)?
Well I wrote the rule specifically using such words knowing I might have to refer to someone as a douche or an AMAZING EDITOR-IN-CHIEF.
I want to congratulate all of the bloggers at Nuts & Boalts on an excellent and engaging project. It's fascinating to read about 1L experiences at my own school, and I'm sure that all N & B readers enjoy the entertaining posts.
Keep up the good work.

I really really really appreciate that Will. Did I mention the AMAZING leadership of the BJIL E-board?
