A friend of mine who worked as an IT guy for one of the Dem candidates in 04 pointed this out to me [third column, 10th paragraph]. He added:
"You wanna know why the democrats lost the election? Voter turnout percentages in the low single digits for minorities and women in red states and we're busy trying to figure out how to get gotv to work in SAN FRANCISCO."
I reserve judgment.

Back to the original subject of the post...
I think the person who wrote that is misguided, at least when it comes to Boalt students. It seems like everyone I knew was going to work in Nevada or Florida or New Mexico or Oregon for the 2004 election. Edley even sent a memo encouraging us to skip class!
Perhaps Boalt isn't representative but it seems a lot of people put their money where their mouth was and went to red states last year.

I can think of other descriptive terms and lame is definitely the tamest. I think it's pretty fucking disgusting if anyone did that.
As for the original post, I should clarify that the person who said those remarks is not a Boaltie. Boalties definitely stepped up.

Will someone please just point us to this message board? I want to feel momentarily superior for being less lame than whoever wrote it.
I think the issue is that some people posted about some things from Tuesday that should be kept in-house on a message board that is read by a lot of kids applying to law schools.
I think we can safely say those are the actions of fucking douchebags.
Douchebaggedness of the posters on the board-we-will-not-name aside. It does seem that a lot of the Boalt posters over there post Boalt stuff cuz there is no other place to do so.
Which reminds, where the hell is that Boalt message board that Edley promised us was just weeks away last spring?
