A Star is Bored
Well, I finally got off my ass and created a discussion board to serve as an interim until the school creates one. The URL is: http://boaltbored.proboards53.com. The link is also on the sidebar and of course you can Google it.

Cool. I suggest that you keep it to just one forum until activity picks up enough to justify segregating the discussion into topic areas; it would be annoying to have to click into all these forums just to read a few messages if the activity level is not high enough yet.
It means more work for me down the road, but it's a good suggestion. Of course this is all going to depend on people registering and actually using it.
This is the best part: "You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law. Well that's the host covering its ass. In your first post you can exrpess your rejection of that offer.
There are already message boards where law students post stuff that is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of laws. You can just go there if you don't like Armen's commitment to trying to create a classy discussion board.
