Still Young Goodwin Liu
Watching our own Prof. Goodwin Liu testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding the Alito confirmation, I wonder why the faculty has not yet given him tenure. Consider this the official Give Goodwin Tenure post.

doesn't deserve tenure
I suppose the reason he hasn't gotten tenure yet is that he hasn't been around long enough and/or he hasn't done enough publishing and/or hasn't passed the snob test with the faculty. We could also possibly add that other top schools haven't offered him tenure yet. But he seems to have friends in high places so perhaps that's coming.
