i realize this is a bit late to comment on, but exactly why do you think you're a better school than michigan? i personally think the schools are of pretty equal quality...
just curious, as a michigan student who talked to a lot of people about boalt a few weeks ago and not once said "we're a better school than boalt" but did say "boalt has more IP classes than we do and more professors and a better overall IP program, though we have a couple of great faculty here." (I'm doing IP and talked to a number of people who were deciding between the two schools.) However, we may have more national placement (though a lot of that is self-selecting), and probably have areas of our faculty that are superior to some of Boalt's (as your IP program is superior to ours). I'm curious as to why you would make a blanket statement that you think Boalt is better than Michigan.
I read this blog pretty regularly, and this isn't the first time I've seen you say this. I'm just curious as to what Boalt's issue (or your issue) is with Michigan.
Liz, first thank you for reading. Also, all the Michigan students that I've come across in the past 2 summers have been great. Every single one of them. With that said, UC Berkeley:Stanford::Boalt:Michigan Law. So take my statements with a grain of salt.

Michigan and Boalt are peers. Virginia is right there too. But Penn sucks. It doesn't belong in the top ten.
The true top ten would be Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Chicago, Columbia, Michigan, Berkeley, Virginia.
That's only eight, but frankly, only eight schools deserve to be regarded as "top ten". NYU and Penn can go fuck themselves
