One Less HP in the Bay Area
I just saw the e-mail regarding HP's departure. I am bummed. The only bad thing I've ever had to say about her is that she scooped me on the graduation speaker thing. She's always really been there for the students. I mean honestly that office was the one area of student services that was working, and working well. Ladarre's departure didn't really help things at the registrar's office, let's just hope HP's departure doesn't hurt things in the student services department.

hp rocks my world. she's funny, she's friendly, she's in the know - always - and she makes law school life so much more tolerable. yay hp!!
What's the difference between student services and the registrar?
Student services mainly practices fire and wind magic, whereas the registrar practices the dark arts.
To me, HP signifies the best of Boalt. HP has been very helpful to me and my fellow classmates. She evinces lots of care for students. And she finds smart, elegant solutions to our practical problems. I really wish she was staying here.
BTW, I think this is an excellent opportunity for the community on this blog to shine and say positive things about an important member and leader in our community who is leaving.

HP was the first person I met here and remains the nicest and most helpful person I've met at Boalt.
