That was arguably the greatest anonymous comment of the year.
Come now PB. The article simply observes that there's a correlation between decreasing blood lead levels and criminal activity, and that the biological mechanism linking the two has been verified. A scientific hypothesis is not a "fallacy" just because its an imperfect or incomplete explanation of a phenomenon.
Removing lead from gasoline was a great thing in many ways. But causing a drop in crime? PB is right. It's more than a stretch.
