Stanford drops its formal grade system, pays $25k to study a potential change of name for the law school

Well, maybe just the first half of that title is true. But I still say they're just trying to be more like Boalt (err, Berkeley).

The money quote:
Stanford will switch to a system of honors, pass, restricted credit and no credit instead of A+ through F, said School of Law Dean Larry Kramer. He hopes the shift will cut the stressful jockeying for status among classmates and encourage students to take more challenging courses.
Your thoughts?

I think 4:05 is referring to the commotion caused at the start of barbri class today. Some girl (not a Boaltie) made a huge fuss because she was trying to save seats for her friends and wasn't letting others sit down once the lecture had begun. This girl was so upset about it that she interrupted the class (thankfully a video lecture - one would hope she'd have the decency to not interrupt a live lecturer) and stood up to make some sort of announcement about her right to the seats. We didn't hear the announcement because thankfully the barbri people took over and told her to get over it and sit down.

It was weird.

Has anyone else not received *any* of their grades yet? I've talked to fellow 3Ls who have gotten all of theirs, so I'm becoming a little worried...

I've got one of four too (two of five, if you count WOA), but I take comfort in knowing that my professors are being extra meticulous with their grading: combing through all the exams time and again, stewing over what grade to give whom, and so on.

I keep hearing stories about how crazy people get in Barbri classes. What's with that? Especially so early in the process.

Today grades moved from the Current Term Grades to Previous Term Grades...but I still only have 2 of 4. This is getting ridiculous.
