Beats that are "Jaw-Droppin', Ear-Poppin' Fresh"
Stanfurd's Lessig had a thing or two to say about updating copyright law when he appeared on the Colbert Report last week.
Over the course of the interview, Colbert warned his viewers that he would be "very angry and possibly litigious" if someone remixed the footage of the interview with a "great dance beat" and allowed it to be played in dance clubs across America.
Of course, that brought about this hilarious bit.
Funny for techies and non-techies alike.

didn't lessig say he was done talking about copyright? didn't he say he was going to dedicate himself to cleaning up politics? guess his failed congressional run and obama's election sent him back to his own territory. HILARIOUS video, thanks!
This is why I love Colbert. I didn't get it and wasn't a convert until Earl Warren and Armen bent my ear. Now I'm a zealot.
As is normal in a Colbert appearance, Lessig doesn't look very good. Looks like another academic with an axe to grind. You get the impression that he thinks he's so smart, so right, if only Congress and the People would LISTEN, we'd all do as he says. I'm kind of glad he's still in the ivory tower. He'd probably make a bad congressman with his attitude.
Well said, 6:11 - I totally agree.
