ATL at Boalt
Tomorrow afternoon, David Lat of the slightly more famous blog Above the Law will be talking during lunch. He will be discussing topics ranging from legal blogging to the effects of the economic crisis on the legal industry. One can only hope that someone (read: Patrick) will be live blogging the blog talk. He has promised to allow lots of time for questions. The questions asked will likely remain as confidential as CDO's employment panels, so come enjoy gossiping about gossip!
Who: David Lat
What: Talking about stuff
When: 12:45 PM, Tuesday, April 06
Where: Room 140
Why: Why not?! Also, free food.

Those of you who do not want to hear more about the economy can enjoy watching my Bayside Tigers mercilessly slaughter the competition at the APALSA Trivia Bowl tomorrow!
Gooooooooooooo BAYSIDE!
Here's softball (which means no searching you competitive jerks): Name the nightclub where Zack and crew catch Jeff cheating on Kelly.
Bonus: What tune (song title and artist) is Zack's mom humming in that episode?
Hello, "The Attic!" They used fake IDs to get in. I can't remember the song.
Volley (easy to medium): In the episode where the gang became entrepreneurs and competed to sell two similar products, name the products! Also, think about the potential Employment Law ramifications.
Buddy bands is the easy one.
Friendship ______ is slipping my mind. Friendship bracelets? That can't be right. Good question though.
Here's a few others to fuel procrastination (did anyone go to that meeting yet?) in lieu of outlining/working.
1) Any self-respecting SBTB fan knows that the show is actually a spin off. Name the original show and the host network.
2) Fill in the blanks:
2a) "I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so, I'm so ______ ."
2b) "There's no ____ with ______."
2c) "Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the _____ _____ of them all?"
2d) [related to 2c] "You are you _____ ______ you."
3) Tori Spelling played? Leah Remini played?
I think it's just friendship bracelets. Buddy Bands was the real trick. Nicely done.
1. "Good Morning, Miss Bliss."
2a. Scared
3. Tori (last season Kelly-replacement) and the chick from the summer episodes (Kathryn?) respectively.
Not sure on the rest... But I remember that 2c and d come from the episode with the giant zit.
Some college years trivia:
1. Name Kelly's two roommates.
2. Name the gang's resident advisor and former football star.
3. Name the sketchy douchebag professor who stole Kelly from Zack. (If you get it, your reward is this hilarious Onion column: http://www.theonion.com/content/opinion/that_professor_lasky_from_saved)
4. Bonus: what fictional California college did the gang attend?

Link Fail. Try this.
Tori Spelling one is wrong.
Alright, here we go with yours.
1. The blond and the annoying one are the roommates, but can't think of the names.
2. Bob Golick (sp?) played the RA named Bob something.
3. Professor Laskey? Lanskey? I know he was an Anthro prof.
4. Cal U.
Tori Spelling was Violet Bickerstaff, Screech's girlfriend. Leah Remini was Stacey Carosi, Zack's love interest the summer he worked at the beach club.
As for college roomates, it was Leslie (the wealthy blonde), and Alex (the kooky actress that eventually got together with Slater).
Ah yeah, I forgot what Tori Spelling looked like. Interestingly, at the APALSA trivia last year, they asked who Screech's gf was, and everyone said "Violet," but they claimed it was wrong. There was a violent uproar, though, so they eventually awarded us points for Violet.
Good job, 10:04.
Laskey is right. Jeremiah Laskey. Click the link above! For the RA, I would have accepted "Mike" or "Big Mike."
I have been trying to figure out if Cal U is supposed to be UCLA or Cal. Thoughts? Weighing in Cal's favor is the episode where they're deciding where to get married. Kelly say Reno, but Zack responds, "Reno is not good enough for my wife. We're going to Vegas!" This suggests Reno is closer than Vegas, which makes me think Cal.
I just always assumed Cal. Whereas on Fresh Prince, "CULA" was not exactly an unsolved mystery.
Potatoes.
Didn't the crew also go to "Cal U" on 90210? And didn't they *all* wind up there despite the fact that Andrea was the valedictorian, Steve was a screwup, and Dillon didn't even have his SAT score recognized? Eh, whatever.
guys at my high school used to watch saved by the bell all the time. it was no big deal.
Shut up 12:11.
I watched saved by the bell yesterday. Is that a big deal?
Don't listen to the haters 12:11 - excellent tie-in... haha
