Legislature wants greater control over UC policy because they are upset with administrator salaries accompanied by fee hikes. Hmmm. In that case, might I demand greater control over the Legislature for raiding the UC's coffers to cover its own incompetence?

if the legislature properly funded uc, i'd see some support for this oversight. if anything, the federal government should be the one to oversee uc these days.
Not sure I can get behind the suggestion that the feds should run state schools, but it is absurd that the CA legislature thinks it deserves MORE responsibility these days.
someone please explain the idea behind cutting all state funding to UC Hastings, and starting a new law school at UCI.
The explanation I received was Hastings has no backing with the regents, and is therefore a soft target.
