What to expect from a man who failed the bar all 4 times

5:06, as someone who plans to fail the bar four times, I resent your implication.

5:34, would you really spend that much money before giving up? I would just move back to Utah after 3.

There's a bar association in Utah?

There's not even a bar.

4:22 wins. And as an aside, during a depo training by NITA, one of the instructors was a female partner at some Utah firm. Her practice consisted of defending bars/stores hit with violating Utah alcohol laws. Her nickname in the state is "the liquor lady."

For the record, even many Mormons think that the Utah liqour laws are ridiculous. Us non-Mormons think they are cute. Not so cute that liqour is 40% more there, though.

Amazing how often Utah comes up on this blog! Former Utah Governor and Current US Ambassador to China John Huntsman actually made a lot of headway in reforming the state's alcohol laws. Basically, a bar is just a bar now (no more private club laws). I think the beer is still watered down though. 3.5 percent alcohol or something?

You blaspheme! It's heretical to refer to anything below 5.8% as "beer".

Anybody else wondering when their grades will start showing up?

I actually have 3 of my 4 grades.

Related: it's interesting that I (a 3L) have a grade for Evidence and a 2L in the class does not - aren't we on the same curve?

Not sure whether the grades show up has anything to do with the curve. The registrar's office is a bit of black box.

can we get a grades open thread?
