I heard Orrin Hatch's opening statements on my way into work. I like how he spent the whole time acting amazed by how politics works, like he had just noticed.
I thought it was all about the Senators today. We didn't get to learn much about Sotomayor, but hopefully we will in the days to come.
Oh, no. It's all senators, all the time. We'll never hear much about -- or from -- Sotomayor. She's not the point. That's always the case in these things, with a few notable exceptions like Bork and Clarence Thomas. And even *then,* it remained all Senators, all the time.
anyone else find it kinda creepy how much Sotomayor and (former) Prof. M*ran look alike....
Yeah but Sotomayor doesn't have a matching dog. The key to RM was that poofy dog. BTW, she's listed as a founding faculty member at UCI. Is it now official that she's gone?
I was under the impression she was doing a joint faculty appointment - kind of like Kr**ger did for a few years (speaking of which, did she ever come back or is she still in HI?)
