My outline is 800 pages long and it's fantastic.

If you haven't seen the Paper Chase, you need to.

This is behavior I never see at Boalt, which makes me happy.

I'm not even sure what an outline is let alone how to make one.

I've never used one and I've done just fine.

In that case, you're glad you didn't go to Columbia.

Is 7:00 pm for real? I hope so. I feel similarly, although I wish I could declare it with as much confidence. I guess the law school mind game has a better hold on me. Anyway, 3 semesters in and I have yet to make a proper outline, beyond adding some notes to the syllabus or throwing a couple pages together the night before.

Wow, this is pretty f'd up. In case anyone hasn't heard, on friday night night, over 50 "protesters" attacked Chancellor Birgeneau's home.

Read in the Chron about the ages and residences of the 8 people arrested:

UC Berkeley police arrested Cal students Zachary Bowin, 21, and Angela Miller, 20 . . .

Six nonstudents, Julia Litmancleper, 20, of San Francisco;

John Friesen, 25, of Fullerton (Orange County);

Donnell Allen, 41, of San Francisco;

David Morse, 41, of Oakland;

Laura Thatcher, 21, of Rolling Hills Estates (Los Angeles County);

and James Carwil, 31, of Brooklyn, N.Y., were arrested on the same charges.

That says a lot.

Maybe those six nonstudents participated in "solidarity" with the two Cal students.

The protests are so popular that they attract people from far and wide! More evidence that the Regents should take pay cuts and cut hundreds of millions in "administrative expenses," and shouldn't raise fees.

Oh wait, none of that makes any sense.
