Bar 2010 Predictions
As mentioned before, these predictions are very nearly worthless, and the reason I'm posting them the day before (vs. earlier) is because I don't want anyone to give them any weight. But without further ado, my unscientific data analysis and gut lead me to believe that the following will be our essay topics:
(in no particular order)
1. Con Law
2. Wills/Trusts crossover
3. Real Property
4. Torts/Remedies crossover
5. Evidence/Crim crossover
6. Professional Responsibilities
In particular, I "feel" that Con Law will focus on federalism, Property will be land conveyance/mortgages, and Torts will be product liability.
So there you have it. But my most important prediction of all: we're going to work this thing over. Hard. There's not one Boaltie that doesn't have the capacity and smarts to really crush this thing out of the park. Good luck y'all!

So far: torts, professional responsibility, and CA evidence with tons of impossible distinctions.
FML.
I just did the MN Bar: Corps, Crim Pro, Wills & Trusts, Civ Pro, Con Law (First Amendment), and Property.
The Corps question was seriously only about proxy voting. It's like a half-page in my CMR. Like I remembered anything it said. My made up law was about half right.
I feel ya 12:42. Who the hell was expecting to see CA Evidence? I would have bet money it wasn't going to show up, yet there it was. I was pissed and that question was long as hell! I think we were all screwed there. I'm seriously hoping that mentioning Prop 8 was enough to pass...
Oh well, at least the first day is OVER! :D
I'm predicting a CERLCA question. It's been a while since they tested complex federal statutes.
Well, if you don't count the crossovers I missed, I nailed my predictions!
Here was my thought process for the essays:
1. "Hey ok, cool, Torts, I can do this".
2. "Professional Responsibility, not so bad, pretty short, I can do this, but first I'm going to break my rule and see what the third question is about".
3. "Crim... this isn't so bad I guess, it looks like... wait, wait, wait a sec... P offered a conviction? that's not part of crim.... oh shit it's evidence, wtf, wtf, wtf. Calm down, you can do this." *glances at bottom of page "ANSWER ACCORDING TO CA LAW FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
6:08 you officially freaked me out for a second there. Actually, until I googled CERCLA. Yes, I'm that dumb.
I made up most of my CA distinctions last year and still passed. Be calm.
I completely forgot about Prop 8. I'm not kidding. FML
Partnership & Agency, Crim & Crim Pro, and Community Property. I felt like it was a way better experience tthan Tuesday.
