Congratulations are in order.
I just wanted to create a space for people to leave comments congratulating Thomas Frampton and Ed Piper on their rock-star performances last night. The composure they demonstrated in front of a nearly-full Zellerbach hall, and such an esteemed panel of judges (including, of course, a Supreme Court Justice), was nothing short of awe-inspiring.
While I cannot speak for everyone, I can say that Thomas and Ed made at least one student proud to be a Boaltie last night. Cheers to them both.

Hats off to both Ed and Tom. They were wonderful.
Also wanted to give a shout out to both Jackie Setili and Joe Rose. The work they did to ensure the success of McBaine warrants more than just a little notation on the back of a program. Hip! Hip!
Yeah, Joe and Jackie put in a ton of effort to make this whole thing happen. It was really unfortunate that Fernholz forgot to mention them in his thank you speech.
You the man Frampton. Keep that religion out of my kid's classroom.
Frampton came alive. Pun intended.
Best McBaine finals I've seen in my 3 years here.

Is that an implied diss of Frampton, Rose, and the distinguished panel? They're in those pics, too, but only Piper is looking sexy?
Anyone know if a recording is available?
They definitely had video cameras there. I hope it gets thrown up on YouTube... Anyone?
