Want to be a hipster and get in on the newest, awesome thing at Boalt?

Well, come to the Boalt Ball Tournament sign up as featured above. Boalt Ball requires a love for graphic design, a steady hand and the wisdom of Justice Cardozo. It's also a great way to meet chicks.

Boalt Ball is awesome.

That graphic is not, however. Don't use the JPG format in Paint if there's text in the image. Remember: PNG PNG PNG!

There was a good xkcd about this very thing...

Personally, having had no hand in making the graphic, I think it's just right.

We were the third law school in the country to host this type of competition (after the 1984 GULC-Ball Tourney). I believe the first in California was Thomas Jefferson's One Ball Open (1986?), but I could be wrong about that. Any other mid to late 80's alumns should feel free to weigh in on that one.

why are you throwing a ball against a lamp in our newly renovated space?

this is why we can't have nice things.

we have hobos shitting in sinks, homeless leaving their belongings in the ceiling, and anonymous trysting grounds -- and you complain that a little ball playing is wrecking the joint?

so you're saying your antics are excused because homeless people are shitting in a sink?

interesting argument.
