Fun With Real Numbers
Professor Caron has a compilation of the salaries of public law school deans. Where does DE stand? Well Moran and Chemerinsky command a higher salary within the UCs. And that probably doesn't include the gold doubloons that Chemerinsky gets from Bar/Bri for reciting Con Law from memory without any effort. Importantly, both of our "peer" schools, Michigan and Virginia, pay over $100,000 more per year while at the same time charging more in tuition than Boalt. To its credit, Boalt has been in the process of fixing the latter glitch.

I'm pretty sure Chemerinsky took a nap in the middle of the Barbri con law lecture. But he knows the stuff so well, he just kept on lecturing through the nap.
I have a feeling this will not make any of the people who have been complaining about DE complain any less.

...which are both Real Numbers. If you have fun with digits, that's a whole different matter.

KIPS REVOLUTION UPDATE:
Still absolutely no words from our dictatorship on bringing about a democratic regime. We have tried many measures to reach out to our cruel overlords but all has failed. As we have learned in Egypt and Libya, democracy does not come easily to the people, so we must step up our efforts and be willing to make sacrifices, I am not really sure what else we can do other than post anonymous internet comments, but if any revolutionaries have any idea on how we can start a dialogue with our Authoritarian regime, it would be greatly appreciated.

Any updates on jobs from last year's grads who graduated w/o employment? Does getting admitted to the bar help?

i love this blog and have been a loyal reader for the last four years, so please do not take this as anything but constructive criticism: the folks in charge of updating nuts and boalts this year suck.

I plan to do more posting once again after moot court finishes. I am sure other contributors are busy with other activities as well, such as being WOA TAs.
