CAMPUS GUM CHEWERS DECORATE FURNITURE IN NEW BOALT HALL
From the San Francisco Call

Law Library Pasted Up With Stuff and Faculty Action to Check Practice is Planned
Chewing gum stuck under table covers and in the telephone booths in the new Boalt hall of law on the campus of the University of California has attracted the attention of the authorities, and a ruling will probably be issued to stop the habit of pasting up the furniture with the stuff.
Some of the students, including a number of the coeds who use the law library, have lately modeled their discarded gum into fantastic shapes which give prominence to the growing custom of gum chewing on the campus. All the furniture in the building is new and of white finish, on which the gum shows up in startling fashion.

what's with all the nostalgic sh*t? when did nuts & boalts get so lame?
What kind of programming are you looking for?
I really enjoy the old newspaper posts. Interesting and quirky. A glimpse at our institution, long ago. A reminder that we're part of something much larger.
Sadness. I read this blog daily for three years while in law school and loved it. For the times I do check now, it's got lame posts about nothing relevant. No blog about Goodwin's nomination, the new school year, the new profs, etc.? I hope the old admins can somehow get the new peeps to step up or else this blog is done..
James,
1. executions in TX and GA
2. BHSA reps asking us to fill out a survey monkey to tell them what they should do
3. professors steering courses to cater to LLMs
4. a more intelligent prompt for clerkship discussions
5. is Zeb a quiet study area or not
[crickets]
11:39, if you're really interested in leading more tiresome and repetitive discussions about clerkships, BHSA, Zeb, or the rest of the fascinating items on your list, you're welcome to email me.
[Crickets].
i agree with 11:39, n&b is a sinking ship. we probably need a bloodletting of old old old posters like armen. the first step in fixing the problem is acknowledging that your tired, less-than-witty posts (and comments) are the problem. [what are crickets?]
john quinn, is that you?
We need some new 1L blood in here.
