(California) Bar Results
For the Class of 2012 hoping to practice in California, today will either be a relief or it will suck. Either way, results for the California bar exam will FINALLY be released tonight at 6:00 p.m. Feel free to vent anxiety now, celebrate later, or ask what is next in the unfortunate case that bad news arrives.

No one cares if you passed. I'm not saying this because I'm bitter. I'm saying this because I have no idea who you are. No one does. Knowing that an anonymous person in cyberspace passed is of little or no importance. That's why no one cares.
Why the hate for 7:43? Because, I'm sick of seeing my FB feed crammed with people telling the world they passed. Why not stop for a second, and think about the ~10% of Boalt who does not pass. Is your small happiness gain from posting on FB enough to offset the hurt it does to your friends who didn't pass?

I think we all feel for the individuals who did not pass this time around. It truly sucks and I know that the people who didn't pass this time will definitely pass in February. It's a shitty, humbling experience, but no one should let bar passage impact her or his self esteem.
That said, people posting about it on Facebook aren't trying to hurt you or anyone who didn't pass. They're sharing a moment of success with the people who care about them, many of who are not in law school nor taking the bar. It's clear from your comment that you're hurting and know one blames you if you didn't pass, but don't be angry at the success of others. No one is trying to rub it in your face.

Personally, I'm sick of people announcing their relationships on FB. Think of how it makes the single people feel. And, oh yeah, single people, stop announcing that you're single on FB. Think of how it makes the people in relationships feel.
Any word yet on how schools as a whole did, other than UC Irvine?
