Probably the Most Pointless Post Ever
Some anonymous whiners wanted to bitch about how the class of 2011 had to sit through 3 years of construction or something, and they wanted a post about it I guess?
So, yeah, here it is. Converse away.

Those people probably wanted a post about how we've graduated, not about how we sat through construction. But it's probably unnecessary anyway, because we're all fucking wasted this week if we're worth our salt.
"If we're worth our salt" - new N&B meme?
I'd have to say the construction was the least of our problems.
Ok, I admit that I am one of those anonymous whiners. It is completely unacceptable that the class of 2011 had to sit through only 3 years of construction! The venerable class of 2009 had to sit through 5 years of construction, uphill both ways. And we liked it that way!
Anyone know when professors have to turn in grades this semester>
You're totally violating the N&B embargo on inquiring about grades until May 31. Regardless of what class you are in, there are a million better things you could be doing with your time.
Lets give the 1Ls a break good grades v bad grades back then meant getting a crappier 160k job... Now it's the difference between 160k or welfare and poverty. I think we can cut them a break for their anxiety.
Grades are not the determining factor on jobs, so do not needlessly freak people out and make it seem that way. I know people who had straight P's who will be at biglaw firms, and I know strong clerkship candidates who got nothing from OCIP. "The difference" is your personality, not your academics (unless you get all HH's or something crazy, in which case you probably are unconcerned about grades being released anyway).
I agree with the post regarding 2009 having it harder. We had to deal with those amazing fixed-position chairs from 1962, not to mention Professor West*n and his unending rape scenarios.
I go on vacation for a month and this is what happens.
Im pretty sure that commenter just wanted a dedicated "congrats 2011 grads" type of post. But you messed it all up, Toney. You always mess it up.
I'm pretty sure I understood that's what they were asking for, but 1) they were dicks about how they asked, 2) they were demanding, and 3) I can do whatever I want.
I was talking to Armen about this lately, and I think (if possible) the discourse here has turned more douchey lately. The veil of anonymity makes such dickery nearly consequence-free, but there is one way to combat this: shame. I'll start.
10:20 - What kind of parents name a kid 'anonymous'?
Boom. But seriously, overall things have gotten nastier lately, so if you need an avenue to vent, focus it on me, and not the other good people of N&B.
Toney, from my perspective it has always been pretty douchey around here.
